Красивее всех Матвей…
Как то раз мы курили «Космос» в кустах в детском лагере отдыха и нас всех поймали. Мы стояли в кабинете начальницы - я, ещё одна девочка и Матвей. А пачка лежала на столе и комета на ней падала и падала вниз, как моя никчемная жизнь. Было ужасно страшно - вот вот сообщат родителям, позвонят в школу, выгонят со смены…
И вдруг Матвей сказал:
- Вообще то я один курил. А девчонки со мной за компанию стояли . И сигареты мои верните - они между прочим, денег стоят .
И нам ничего не было, а ему конечно влетело .
- Ну ты и наглый! - сказала начальница лагеря .
Красивый...- подумала я - Какой же ты красивый!

Мы с Матвеем потом дружили целое лето. Оказалось что мы живём в одном районе. Часто встречались на останове, болтали , а потом как-то потеряли друг друга из виду .
Иногда я что-то слышала о нём – чаще плохое. Кого-то побил, что то украл, распространение наркотиков, поставлен на учет , несовершеннолетний торчок.
- Нет! - говорила я - Матвей не такой, он знаете какой?!
Но никто не знал. Не знали о том, что он самый красивый мальчик на свете, не знали точной причины его гибели в 17 лет, когда он упал с крыши многоэтажки – то ли сам , то ли сбросили.
Такое вполне могло случиться у нас на улице Гагарина, где окна в одну сторону выходят на колонию-малолетку, а в другую на овраг и цыганский посёлок.

Вчера Матвей приходил ко мне. Звал выпить с ним вина, покурить на площадке. Я и пошла, но как то заблудилась среди чужих лестниц, незнакомых лестничных площадок, неизвестных квартир…
Так и не покурила «Космоса», так и не выпила вина с самым красивым мальчиком на свете.
